Welcome to Baton Rouge’s One Book One Community Web site. OBOC is a community-wide reading program. People from all walks of life are encouraged to read and discuss important issues raised by a single book.

Each year two books are chosen as official One Book One Community selections. A variety of community partners collaborate to bring the city interesting programming and events throughout the year.

The point of One Book One Community is to provide readers with a shared reading experience that leads to open dialogue.
